Welcome to the 3rd installment of "Why I love living in San Antonio!". If you missed my reason #1 & reason #2 you can check them out but now it's time for my #3 Reason for continuing to be in love with San Antonio!
Reason #3: RODEO!
One small word that means different things to different folks. I have been going to the RODEO for as long as I can remember. RODEO to me means: Cowboys, cotton candy, mutton bustin', roller coasters, bull riding, entertainers, carnival rides, nachos, beer, cattle roping, shopping and clowns! All of these equal fun! The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo held it's 60th year of fun this year.
If you haven't been to a RODEO in San Antonio I suggest you stop what your doing and rush right over, you'll be glad you did!
If you are ready to make a move to a city that LOVES the RODEO, San Antonio might be the place for you! If you are interested in relocating to San Antonio i'd love to answer any questions you might have. Kristin@KristinMoran.com or 210-313-7397.

Kristin,
Good reason for loving where you live. We used to have those here. All the horse arenas are gone.

My Dad is a huge rodeo fan, so I have managed to see a few.
Hi Kristin, We love going to the rodeo but had to miss it this year.
Hey, great post. Thanks for the information about your area.
I LOVE THE RODEO!!!!! I think I need to move to San Antonio!!!! :)
Thanks for the link you thought I would be interested in...it took me back to the convention for a few minutes and reminded me of the fun people we met. :)
KM - This is a great idea for a series. Great pics too!
Hi Kristin, I've never been to a rodeo but it sounds like tons of fun. Nice job with the pictures too!
Hi Kristin,
Great post! Pictures are fabulous!
Ann - How sad! I don't know what we would look forward to each February w/out the rodeo!
JL - Where's your rodeo love?
SP - HI! You got an outside blog I see?!! Good for you!
Brian - Thanks sir!
TC - HA! That took me a minute to figure out what "link" you were talking about. :D. I heart him. ;)
Erik - Thank you! They denied me taking in my good camera (lens was too big) I tried @ two different check point doors to sneak it in....I guess they thought I had a weapon in my camera? No clue! So, I was stuck w/my low grade camera that is itty bitty but it turned out alright!
Barb - THanks! They are fun, we got to see Josh TUrner this year who is just specrtcular just to look at and & sings on top of that!
Dorie - Why thank you ma'am!! appreciate the compliment from a fellow Texan! KM
Kristin,
I am sure there are still horse arenas in Missouri just not too close to St. Louis.
Ann Hayden in sunny Wildwood, Missouri
I have heard big things about the rodeos in Texas. Never been though.
I like how you are doing your reasons for loving your city in order as opposed to me who just picks a random number and a random reason. =)
If a rodeo comes anywhere near Myrtle Beach, I am so there! I have always wanted to experience a real rodeo!
Kristin - I've always loved watching the bucking broncos and the cattle roping...Yeehaw! :)
I visited San Antonio a few years ago. It's absolutely beautiful. I made a video slide show of it and posted it on YouTube. You can watch it here if you want =)
Kristin - Love the way you did your photo's. I never did hear what the Grand Champion Steer sold for, does anyone know. Our son's both showed animals at the Stock Show - Steers - Sheep - Hogs so you can say they were raised in and around the Rodeo's. We use to go to the carnival when Ceil and I were in high school (many moon's ago). Good Blog.
