Why I love living in San Antonio! Reason #1: THE WEATHER!

I am very excited to bring your a series of posts about "Why I love living in San Antonio!"  I have lived in San Antonio my entire life and have loved every minute of it.  I am going to share in (who knows how many) posts my reasons for continuing to be in LOVE with San Antonio

So, here goes, reason number 1:  THE WEATHER!

I know there are folks out there with piles of snow outside their door, BUT, you won't find that in San Antonio.  In fact, you won't find snow at all!  The summers are HOT and the winters are, well, NOT SO HOT

San Antonio weather - Kristin Moran

Most days in San Antonio, you will need a light jacket in the morning but by afternoon you are throwing it to the side.  On occasion you will get a day or two where a medium sized jacket is necessary but that's it.  I don't even own a HEAVY JACKET, if I went somewhere it was cold I would need to borrow one.

If you are ready to make a move to warm weather, San Antonio might be the place for you!  If you are interested in relocating to San Antonio i'd love to answer any questions you might have.

Hi Kristin!  GREAT localism post and what wonderful weather you have there!  Each time I visit your area, the weather is perfect--and not alot of humidity when I was there either.  You do live in a beautiful area!

San Antonio is a great place!  If I didn't enjoy Birmingham so much, it would definitely be a place I would like to live.

Kristin,

I've been to San Antonio many times and you do have a wonderful city! Our Coldwell Banker National convention will be in your fair city the first of March and I definitely plan on attending!

I love the weather in South Texas too, but it is cold this morning.  Of course, it could be worse...here are some current wind chills

Okay... I own a heavy jacket (just in case) but I see your point.  If its really cold, it does not tend to last too long.  Just stay inside until it gets a little warmer.  Now if we could just get it to warm up a little earlier than 2 pm, that would be great.

Hi Kristin, ...and this week is considered a "cold" week. Next week I will probably be able to leave my patio door open.

Hi Kristin, good point about mild weather. You almost take it for granted until you look what is going on in Chicago and Minnesota these days. Another reason for San Antonio for sure...

Trey - Awww, how sweet.  Glad you like it here!

Alan - I would venture to say it's all that snow you  have!

Debe - The humidity can get you sometimes but it's temporary!

Cristal - Of course you can! But you should know I "Borrowed" it myself (with permission) from Debbie Summers in Florida, if you don't already read her, you should check her out!

Ann - Another spot I haven't been to! I need to venture out more :D

Dorie - AHHH!!  How fun!! WE are having the RE/MAX of Texas convention next month in San Antonio - very excited about not traveling out of town!

Keith - It was chilly this AM also here, now it's MUCH better.

John - Right!!  It makes it hard to dress sometimes!

SP - Yes.  and the heater goes on!  :S

Kristin, I am so jealous. We have a foot of snow in the yard. I had to have the drive plowed twice in one day and had a white knuckle drive in rush hour this afternoon when more snow was falling. But I'm alive and well and snow melts eventually!
