I stumbled on a ton of ORANGE today. There was way too much fun being had by young & old alike right down the street off Nacogdoches road (FM 2252). Right around the corner from our office, RE/MAX Access, the Bracken United Methodist church is having a Pumpkin Patch & they do not mess around when it comes to bringing pumpkins in...
I stopped in for a minute to see how the children were enjoying the Pumpkin Patch. They have hay rides, picture spots, sitting spots to observe & PUMPKINS galore! Big ones, small ones, bumpy ones, bright orange ones, dark orange ones & ones that need a little love.
You can walk in, look around, take a few pictures with and even take a pumpkin or two home with you.
According to the Bracken United Methodist Church website income from selling pumpkins goes to the Navajo Indians who grow the pumpkins, corn, and gourds as well as support mission work in the area through Bracken UMC. Suggested pumpkin prices are $1 - $20.
Here's where you can join in on the fun through the end of October from 9AM to sundown.

What a great event. This year seems to be really into Halloween. Maybe it's because the election is so spooky!
Hi Kristin -- This looks like fun. That's a great arrangement the church has with the Navajos. And the money raised goes to a good cause.
I love pumpkin patches. My little niece had her birthday party at a pumpkin patch last year, and we had a blast. GREAT PICS! GBU!
I love Pumpkin patches! Can I come and wait for the Great Pumpkin?
Kristin, I like your slide show, good to know you are still getting the Google juice from this post!
Great local post about San Antonio. I was born and raised there and sure do miss it. Great post about the event!!
