Sitting amongst a ton of tourists on the Architectural tour on Chicago's own "Chicago Line Cruises"
I started thinking about all the Chicago natives that have probably taken all that Chicago has for granted. Much as a Texas girl would take the River Walk for granted or the Alamo. It made this Texas girl think of all that San Antonio has to offer & what I should take a second look at.
We took a 90 minute boat tour that showed us a side of Chicago I wanted to see more of. The structure of the buildings & the love in the design was very apparent looking way up into the sky & seeing what great architects spent their time, energy & love on. Here is a quick view of what you can expect on the Chicago Architectural tour:

I LOVE Chicago, it's about a 4 hour drive from my house and I go every chance I get!
I'm from Chicago. Whenever I go back, it's like going home. I'm about four hours from Chicago just like Tammy but in the opposite direction.
Take care.
Hi Tammy! I loved it too! Had never been but loved every moment of it. Well, except the chill.
Cindy! - Very cool. Nice city to hang out in.
Kristin, We just returned as well. We were there for Labor Day weekend which was extended due to the Hurricane. We did the tour as well. I absolutely love Chicago I just hope the CUBS can get it together.
I was expecting a picture of a pizza from Geno's east.
Hi Frank - Oh wow! Yes, there was quite a hub-bub about the cubs EVERYWHERE we went. If we were fans we would have paid more attention.
Michael! - AHHHH!!! Our last meal in CHICAGO was at GENO'S! We couldnt' finish a whole pizza between 4 of us! UGH. It was good. You just don't get pizza like that in SA. KM
Kristin - I went to college in Chicago for 3 years - Moody Bible Institute - You brought back some memories... :)
I was in Chicago once and stayed at the Palmer House hotel. There is a really neat art museum near the museum that I remember being near the hotel. Did you get to visit the art museum?
Hi Debi - I somehow missed the MB INstitute. Must of been all the rushing around.
SP - Just from the outside! The majority of what we saw was after dark since we were in classes all day.....
