My sister and I spent a ton of time in CHICAGO at the Star Power conference this last week. We are now back! We returned safely, it's a shame I haven't seen my luggage yet.
I think I met over 100 new people. It is easy to talk to folks when you are visting new places so we decided to have a little fun with it while we were at it.
As we met people everywhere we went my sister and I found it very interesting that SO many people who live in Chicago are from other places. I made this quick video to demonstrate my point.

Same as Dallas, not many are born here in Dallas, however my daughter is ! have a great week.
I was born and raised in Chicago, but I don't live there anymore.
Kristin, very cool short montage. I had to play it twice to figure out where the driver was from. Could not figure out what she was saying. She had a very interesting accent. <3 C. ;-)
Too funny Kristin! I grew up outside of Chicago in Naperville; born and raised there. In high school they'd make fun of me because I had never lived any where else. Being in the "high tech" corridor Chicago and the suburbs are a very transient area. Moved when I was 32 - now I get grief because "You're not from here..."
Lynn - I don't make it a habit to ask people from SA where they are from. Maybe I should start?
Rich - Interesting! Proves my point!?
CTS - & she spoke very low.
Debbie - After all those years?!! Wow. That's a huge change!
Oh my goodness! You are so technical! Love the "pop up video" type descriptions. Sounds like you enjoyed yourselves.
During the summer months every car on the freeways here seem to be from Arizona. I think the population of Phoenix drops to about 5,000, and the population of San Diego increases to about 3 million.
I've been here for 15 years. They say that once you've been here for a year, you can claim to be a native San Diegan. Finally! I made the big time! I'm movin' on up, to the east side.... (with apologies to The Jeffersons).
Kristin, you guys are having too much fun. I hope those people tipped you properly for letting them be in the video. How was star power?
Well welcome back! Looks like you had a good time up there. Loved the video, it was funny.
Hi Cristal - I seemed to have fooled you with my technical skills. We did enjoy ourselves! A TAD too mucho! We were all over the place throwing money at cab drivers, bell hops, you name it. I will be eating ramen noodles for the next 6-8 months. :).
Russel- Hello San Diegan! What a claim to fame!
Charlie - Quite the contrary my friend. WE had to tip them! Star Power was spectacular! I learned so much stuff! It's all in my head & I am trying to get it all out so I IMPLEMENT & don't just waste it all.
Rick - THanks! I loved making it. Can you hear my obnoxious laughter during it all?
