It’s the truth but it hurts, it hurts me to say, I hit the unsubscribe button on your blog today.

You see we were close at one point and day, you made me laugh, cry & even brushed my boredness away.

But those days are over it’s hard for me to stray, but, we don’t talk much, don’t speak, there are no words to relay.

Your blog I would visit at least once a day but now there is nothing, just the shell of a blog that is forced to decay.

I am guilty myself of leaving my subscribers astray and I am sure they thought the same of me, much to my dismay.

So today I disown you, no longer a fan, unless you come back & put some words down, even if it’s spam?

I hope you are busy with business galore, for you see this is the only excuse for leaving your blog a snore.

Docusign has saved me numerous times.  I have been using Docusign for quite a few years now & love it more each time it saves me.  I brag about it’s abilities to other agent’s in my office, agent’s I do business with & even to my husband.  “I found the most spectacular Real Estate tool, EVER, EVER!!!” is what I tell folks! I had one agent tell me “I am 61 years old, if you are using docusign I want to be like you, the younger agent & use it too”, she signed up after our first transaction. 

There are three very vital things in my life that docusign saves me:  Time, energy & MONEY! Who doesn’t like to save yourself one of those three things? I know I DO! Each time I electronically send a contract over to a client for signatures Docusign has just saved me time – to do other money making activities, energy – I no longer have to get in the car, drive to the client’s home, place of business or a Starbuck’s and Money – I don’t know of an agent that doesn’t think they spend too much money on GAS, do you?

With my extra time each week, 3 hours+ I would be in heaven! I love to cook but am still learning, a work in process you might say.  I would LOVE to be able to have the time to research a meal, shop for the meal, cook and then eat that meal with my family, every last one of them. I am very thankful for them!

I can picture us now, sitting around, talking it up, laughing & then enjoying my latest culinary delicacy.  Mmmmmmmmmmm….. Ok, perhaps not right off the bat, but, after a few test tries, I am sure I will woo the below people with my culinary abilities! So, that is exactly what I would do with three more hours a week!

What I learned in Real Estate this week...........The week after vacation edition!

Las week i was in Puerto Vallarta with my sweetie, loving life, sipping margaritas, enjoying the view & feeling footloose & fancy free.  Here's proof:

I got back to work this week, full speed ahead (is there any other speed in RE?) & this is what I learned this week:

• ALWAYS have a back-up, you know someone to do your work for you while you are basking in the mexico sun.
• If you are gonna go on vacation, make sure it is far, far away, you know, somewhere where you have spotty or really expensive internet & phone usage so you can truly forget EVERYTHING & enjoy yourself (see the first bullet).
• Some agents watch their deals like their children.  Constant texts, emails & phone calls DAILY to make sure we are "still good" like we were an hour ago.
• If there are sudden fires around your city, make sure the homes you have under contract weren't affected.
• Short sale departments still have a long way to go as far as the left hand talking to the right, etc.
• If a deal falls through it MAY suddenly come back to life, thank goodness.
• Appraisers have a mind of their own, truly, truly, truly. 
• Sometimes calling someones bluff works better than you think it will.
• Being a Realtor takes alot out of your car, mine was happy to be on a break last week.

AND, my favorite lesson this week:

• I LOVE and I mean LOVE, Mexico.

New Braunfels High School Football Schedule ~ 2011

What's the absolute best part of going back to school?  The kids are out of your hair? The house is quiet? Your wallet seems fatter because you aren't paying for "summer activities" anymore?

Wrong, Wrong and WRONG!

The answer is......FOOTBALL!

High School football to be more exact....and nobody does High School Football like the New Braunfels Unicorns!

They've got quite a line-up this year, some awesome players who have been hitting it hard to get in preparation for their FIRST GAME! Which is, right around the corner folks!

This is my son, Korbin, he is only ten months old but looks like he has made his choice in products already.  I wonder if he will be a Realtor or not? He sure seems to LOVE technology! He bangs on the keyboards & all sorts of stuff pops up left & right.  He thinks he's typing!

Back to school in San Antonio, Texas ~ The NEISD school supply list

Does that sentence make anyone else sad? Just me? I bet not.  The summer seems to breeze by like the blink of an eye & then POOF, it's back to school, waking up early, homework after school, no more lazy sleeping in days or staying up late! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh.  It's tough for me & I don't even have school aged children.

Anyway! Back to school in San Antonio, Texas is super, duper important. There are a TON of spectacular deals to be had at various stores, CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart & HEB! These places can hook you up with the right stuff you need to get back into the swing of things for SCHOOL!

The MOST important question I think (yes, me with a 10 month old, YEARS away from school but HEY, I like to plan!) is "WHAT DO WE NEED FOR SUPPLIES!?" Am I right? Thought so.

So, I thought I would supply a list of what your superstars need for BACK TO SCHOOL! So, because it is the district I went to school in from kindergarten through 12 I bring you........THE North East Independent School District school supply LIST!

Of course, there will be others, it's what's hot right now, right?

ActiveRain is a plethora of knowledge, friends, humor & REFERRALS! This, my friends, is a fact.  So many folks I have talked to about AR, trying to make them see them light, to no avail. I'm so sad for them :(, but anyway.

I will continue my journey on AR, blog more when I am not out selling homes to your referrals, holding a baby or becoming more chatty on AR! It just works! So, here I am yet again, talking about a referral check I received (& worked pretty hard for!) 

Last year, I had the pleasure of working with referrals from Houston, San Antonio & OHIO! This year starts with another one from Ohio!  Ohio folks must have a ton of people moving to our fair city of San Antonio!

Lucky for us! We LOVE to watch San Antonio GROW!

One man in particular, Rob Hoffman set out to find the perfect agent for his client back in December, 2010. By way of an AR referral notification I was alerted that he was looking for an agent.  His notification had a zillion questions from how long have you been in business to how many foreclosures have you closed? How quickly do you respond to your clients? Do you work on the weekends? 

All EXCELLENT questions in determing your client's needs. 

I read it on my phone, handed my husband the (then 2 month old) baby & made a mad dash for my computer, I answered his questions one by one, then an amazing thing happened...he sent more!

Eventually, he sent me the contact info of some wonderful Ohio folks who were making the move to TEXAS & that's all she wrote......

San Antonio has new happy, homeowners AND, AR get's to mark another success story down.

Is it safe yet?  The effects of Hermine in San Antonio, Texas!

It poured all day yesterday in San Antonio, Texas.  If you are friends with anyone in and around San Antonio on Facebook you probably would have gotten tired of all the updates about the RAIN!  It seemed to be what was on EVERYONE'S mind & then became their status update! 

Road closures, traffic accidents to vehicle rescues, San Antonio saw it all yesterday & then some!  We had not seen rain for quite awhile so it was a welcoming site but it disrupted quite a few things along the way!

I snapped these pics at one of my listings this AM, this was one small but powerful storm!

I also got a call that our "For Sale" sign blew right out of the yard of another listing & into the wind.  Thanks Hermine!
