Saturday evening in Chicago was our first trip downtown. We had been in class for days & decided to adventure out & see what there was to see. What we ultimately found out was there is a TON to see. We had so little time to see it all!
We started out on our own wandering down the streets checking out everything Chicago has to offer. We ended up meeting up with a new friend we met in Star Power Leadership class Nicholas (Nico) Apostal (one of Chicago's most knowledgeable agents) & having an excellent tour of downtown, the shops & dining and even had a preview of the Chicago residential neighborhoods of BuckTown & Logan Square. Nico really knows his city, I think he missed his calling as a tour guide while selling homes but he does both very well. If there is ever anyone with more passion about the history & culture of a city my vote would be for Nico.
We ended up having dinner at Bin Wine cafe which is a cute little wine bar on Milwaukee street (1559 North Milwaukee, Chicago, Il. 60622, call them 773-486-2233).
Here are some of the pictures I took of the inside:

This is a view from where we sat - nice (small) patio with a great view of the street!

This is Nico posing with his wine.

This is the antipasto platter we had with our wine. Very delicious & accompanies the wine very well.

Here are the tourists (Sheila & I) with our tour guide extraordinaire Nico.
